Project Details: The Construction and Demolition Debris Recycling Center is a new state of the art recycling center located at Zion Crossroads in Fluvanna County, Virginia. There are three walls on this project totaling 7,981 square feet or 1,400 Redi-Rock units. This project is unique in that our Force Protection blocks are being used on top of the walls to replace guardrails. These block are connected to the blocks below them with J-Bolt connectors. The Force Protection blocks save the owners time and money since they are acting as both retaining walls and guardrails. Redi-Rock was the simple solution to this project because poured walls were specified on the plans, but the time and labor to put them in made them cost prohibitive. The owner has already expressed how pleased he is with Redi-Rock!
